Brad Jones Racing Supercar drivers Tim Blanchard, Tim Slade and Nick Percat (back) took time out from the track to visit patients and staff at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane Annerley Road Campus in Brisbane on Wednesday, 18 July 2018.
Together with Summit Fleet’s National Sales Manager Mike Smith, the drivers participated with the patients in some low impact exercises as part of their rehabilitation before enjoying afternoon tea and fielding questions about their exploits on the track. The drivers’ visit was a welcome distraction for the patients on their way to recovery.
Summit Fleet has been supporting the Mater Hospital and Foundation since 2005, providing vehicles for the volunteer services of the Mater Foundation. Every year, Summit Fleet has taken up the opportunity of bringing the racing drivers to the Mater Hospital through our long-term partnership with the Brad Jones Racing team, helping to cheer up patients who are away from their friends and families.
