Summit Fleet Leasing and Management have introduced an updated Online Driver Training Programme for our customers – Fleetcoach.
Fleetcoach is a practical, online training programme which assist employers to help develop safer driver practices for employees using vehicles in the workplace. Fleetcoach uses interactive video simulations taken from Australian roads to teach those higher-level driving skills, that are directly transferable to real-life situations on the road.
Research has shown that higher-level driving skills are proven to help reduce crash risk. Skills such as visual search and hazard perception are identified to be more important for reducing crash risk than that of vehicle handling skills.
It is important to provide your employees with the opportunity to improve their skills, know their limits and practice better risk management and decision making. This online video-based training is self-paced and can be completed anytime and anywhere with an internet connection.
Fleetcoach is available to all Summit Fleet customers.
