It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Andjelka Farac, who passed away last week in Croatia following a short but brave battle with illness.
Andjelka was part of the Summit Fleet family for more than 15 years, and her contribution to our business was extraordinary. She first joined with the responsibility of managing marketing and products when our team was just 45 people — and over the years, she helped shape the business we are today.
Her influence was far-reaching — from enhancing our brand and developing products, to building many of the core systems, policies, and frameworks that continue to support our operations, including our intranet and internal audit models.
Her work made Summit stronger, more connected, and more efficient, and she did it all with incredible care, creativity, and determination.
In 2021, Andjelka joined our leadership team, leading with passion and purpose. She also chaired our Sustainability Council, achieving lasting outcomes, and played a key role in the planning and delivery of our company conferences. There are few areas of Summit that she didn’t improve or inspire.
After relocating to Croatia last year with her husband, Slavisha, she continued to contribute remotely — guiding project management initiatives and supporting her colleagues with her trademark energy and expertise.
We are deeply grateful for the lasting impact Andjelka has made on our people, our culture, and our business.
She will be remembered not only for her achievements but for her warmth, honesty, and the passion she brought to everything she did.
Our thoughts are with her husband, family, and friends during this difficult time.
We honour her legacy and celebrate the difference she made to all of us.
Forever part of the Summit Fleet family.
