Summit Fleet Completes The Push-Up Challenge in Support of Mental Wellness

Summit Fleet and Leasing Management proudly took part in the 2025 Push-Up Challenge — Australia’s largest mental health and fitness initiative raising $2,635 in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention initiatives across the country.

Held from 4th to 26th June, the Push-Up Challenge encouraged participants to complete 3,214 push-ups, representing the number of Australians who tragically lost their lives to suicide in 2023.  Now in its eighth year, the event aims to spark important conversations, reduce stigma, and improve mental wellbeing through community engagement and physical activity, which can be summarised through our own Ben Van Veenendaal, “Every push-up is a show of support, a reminder that no one should struggle in silence.”

At Summit Fleet, we are committed to supporting initiatives that reflect our core values and make a positive impact on the communities we serve. Our participation in the Push-Up Challenge is part of that broader commitment – to foster wellbeing, encourage mental health awareness and stand with those affected by mental illness. It not only gave our team the opportunity to stay active, but helped raise critical awareness and funds for mental health issues that impact millions of Australians.

Summit Fleet’s involvement highlights our organisation’s ongoing commitment to supporting mental health and wellness, both within and beyond the workplace. It is imperative at Summit Fleet we recognise the importance of mental health in all aspects of life, and Summit’s Strategic Sales & Marketing Manager Dominic Natoli reflects this notion, “I’m incredibly proud to be part of an organisation that actively supports mental health awareness.”

In the words of our General Manager, Darren Gore, “Don’t underestimate the role we all play in pushing for better mental health.”
